IT Web Developer
Reports to the IT Manager
Digital Manga is looking for a part-time or full-time IT Assistant/Web Developer to maintain and create websites for its new business developments. The ideal candidate must be able to work well with the different divisions of Digital Manga. They must be forward-thinking and have the passion to improve the company by contributing new ideas and implementing them. Applicants must also be familiar with computer/network troubleshooting.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of CSS and HTML
- Intermediate level of PHP and MySQL
- Good understanding of information architecture and usability
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Ability to work with a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of Flash, Photoshop, ActionScript, and Javascript a plus
- Knowledge of Japanese anime/manga/game/pop culture a big plus
- Knowledge of yaoi a plus
- Familiarity with Mac OS a plus
Pay is negotiable.
