There's a new "yellow" manga called YELLOW / R 1. What do you think it is? Is it these Yellow 2 small books that we have collected? Anyone who knows? Seems like it just came out in japan.

I'm betting Mo will know for sure, but my guess would be that it's a hard copy of Yellow 2. The sequel was originally made exclusively for cellphone users in Japan.

From the Amazon description, I'd say it was a tanko ed of Yellow 2

Shroud is correct - just confirmed with Enterbrain. This is the tanko edition of DMP's Yellow 2.

This is the tankoban edition of the Yellow 2 title that DMP licensed. It was apparently popular enough in Japan as a cell phone manga that they decided to print it.
