Alice the 101st

Postby tsukimori » Thu Jul 08, 2010 7:54 pm

I'm a fan of La Esperance so i'll definately try this series out plus I'm a huge fan of La Corda so anything to do with classical music that's a must read.

Mondonville Music Academy attracts thousands of elite musician applicants from around the world, but only 100 students are accepted into the program each year. But this year, Alistair Lang-who has no formal music training and is unable to even read a music score-is somehow accepted into the program as the 101st student! His classmates wonder how he even made it into the program, and proceed to treat him like an outcast, calling him, "the 101st". One day, during a violin lesson, Alistair steps up and begins to play his violin... - www.mangaupdates.com

it was delayed and suppose to be release on June 9th but don't see it on any site that has it in stock even amazon doesn't have it. anyone know where to buy it online without crazy international shipping rate?

Hi tsukumori!

You can buy Alice via Akadot Retail :LINK

Amazon should be getting it very soon. The book did run a little behind-but it's completed and shipping currently.

Thanks!

Can anybody tell me what this series is about? ^^;;

I think I tried to give it a read at the bookstore but didn't like it/beginning might've been boring but I can't remember. If a couple of you out there think it's good though I might give it another try :3

Georges periodically shows up throughout volume 2 (he's actually on the back cover). He's friends with Vick (classmates? I don't have the book in my hands and I literally just read it - so forgetful :cry: ). I'm hoping to see more of him in the later volumes. I think he'll be good for Alice.

ERROR??? in volume 2

Postby tsukimori » Wed Nov 17, 2010 10:27 am

on the character information page in volume 2 where it talks about Georges on the left corner there's a chibis of I think Georges's mom and Vick but right in the middle it shows Robert but it says right underneath Robert's chibi character "he has a father" which makes no sense??? maybe i interpret it wrong..

Promenade the extra after Alice the 101st volume 2 on the top most left panel it shows Robert again and then an arrow that says "Father"

I am pretty sure it's Robert from La Esperanca and that's not Georges's father.

so if the dmp staffs can forward this info to the translators that would be great.
