Has anyone else tried the Promo Code thing to get their free items? And if so, exactly what is this free item?

Free DokiDoki item is fukuseigenga, which is a reproduction of an original art page from that particular title, signed by the artist.

I've ordered all my DokiDoki books through Akadot so far, and they've automatically sent the promo items with the orders, so I haven't needed the promo codes at all. They're nice, though I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them. They're too big to put on a shelf and I'd have to frame them to put them on the wall (tedious), so for now they sit in a nice little pile in my closet waiting for a better place to put them.

So will all DokiDoki books have promo items? Or just certain ones? Because it appears that the newest books listed at Akadot (Boys Love, something by Tateno) do not have the little promo item option.

Promo items were only for a limited time to promote the DokiDoki launch. We actually continued offering for several months. Early DokiDoki titles that contain the code will still allow someone to receive fukuseigenga if they haven't already (as long as supplies last). Promo would not continue indefinitely, so new books don't have a code.

The DokiDoki front page will be getting an update soon, since promo is ending.
