~ Deoxyribonucleic Love : LK + Sakura ~

[Lady Kakata]

The girl looked up from her notebook and blinked, surprised at the question. Now that she was looking directly at him, he could see that her eyes were a very bright, vibrant green, a stark contrast to the black of her hair and glasses and white of her skin

"Uh, okay I guess"

[Sakura_Hikizaki]

Kenshiro noticed her eyes, it was starling a little. He was glad that she replied yes. It has been a while since he went and took the first step in the situation like this. So he was nervous a little.

“Ok” He replied back to her.

[Lady Kakata]

"Everyone got a partner?" Was the question to which most replied 'yes' in one form or another. From the resolved, to the cheery from those who got a hot partner, to the disappointed from those who didn't get the person of their choice.
"Good. Now ..." She turned round and pulled down the screen to give them a rather child-like introduction to microscopes and their usage
"The reason I'm going over this like you're all five-year-olds is because you have the potential to be as destructive as five-year-olds" She informed them, her eyes piercing them from behind her glasses, looking at them all in turn in a grand sweep across the class. Because of her tall, slender frame and the way she gracefully moved, she had the air of a serene being. But that was only when you didn't take into account her stern air and the way she looked at everyone like a disapproving dominatrix. If this were a film, she'd be the evil scientist that the main bad guy uses to make up the things he needs to advance the plot and create problems. Not nessesarily bad, just amoral enough and harsh-looking to carry the job without being a complete bitch.

"These microscopes cost well over $3000, and if you break it, you WILL pay for it's repair or replacement. Either one will sap your back account cry"
"What, seriously?" A boy piped up, a look of disbelief on his face
She zero'd in on him with her sky-blue eyes, pratically dissecting his soul through his own face

"Seriously" She hissed, narrowing her eyes and glaring at him for a few moments for good measure, before turning around and getting on with her lecture. Most were suitably unnerved, but the girl next to Kenshire simply got on with writing down every single diagram and note on the lecture slide

Ken was taken back a bit at the teacher's peronality. But in away it was refreashing to see a female professor like this. Classes will be interesting he thought. Ken was already famliar with using microscopes and other equipments. So it will be a review for him. He had worked at a lab over the summer to earn money. From time to time he would be able to get lessons from the full time workers and staff. But a little review was welcomed.

Due to the fact that she got the microscope first, the green-eyed girl had first dibs on working with it. She had a careful and precise way of working; carefully aligning the lights, making sure everything was working before popping the pre-prepared slides under the clips and looking through the eyepieces, her black hair making a small side curtain around the microscope as her left hand, the fingers dotted with a few rings, adjusted the focus slightly this way and that while the right hand noted down the shape of the onion cells then the cheek epithelials. She didn't need to look at her notepad to see what she was drawing, which was odd to see but she was apparetly sketch it, and when her partner took his turn on the microscope, she sat on her stool and finalised the detailed drawing, adding notes as to what part of the cellular structures she knew

The blacked hair girl had called the use of the microscope first. So while he was waiting he busied himself with the assignments, and notes he had. His turn came up and Kenshiro went ahead and started doing his part. He couldn’t use his laptop. So he took out his notebook and start writing in his observations. It was basic, and quite simple. He had noticed his partner as she was working it seemed that she was also quite familiar with using microscopes. Soon after they were both finished. Kenshiro looked around and noticed other then them, only a few others had finished. The majority where still working. He looked at the girl and said

"Ummm...Thank you, for eariler, my name is Kenshiro, you?"

[Lady Kakata]

She seemed surprised that he had spoken to her, blinking in a blank way as she took in what he was saying

"Oh, I'm Sarah" Offering a hand for him to shake.

[Sakura_Hikizaki]

Kenshiro took the hand offered and shoked it. "It's nice to meet you Sarah" He said with a little smile.
Kenshiro was intrigued at Sarah skill with the microscope “I saw that you are able to use the microscope perfectly. Did you have practice before?" He asked her.

[Lady Kakata]

She narrowed her pale shoulders, "I took advanced biology classes in high school, we had this kind of microscope. Although there was only one and it was in pretty bad shape"

[Sakura_Hikizaki]

“It must have though…with only one. Our school had numerous ones...but the only problem was that they were outdated. I think that was the only reason there so many of them. I was lucky to have had outside sources” Kenshiro said with a little smile. He remembered those days when he was able to use the biology equipment. Hours spent learning. He loved to learn, but sadly his highschool wasn't a place that had put much value into education.
