Got the book a day and a half ago and just finished it. And all I have to say is it was GREAT! I can't wait for volume 2 in a couple of days. Hideyuki Kikuchi you really are an amazing writter. Probably my first favorite internantional japanese author. His writting is Amazing. Not to mention his Vampire Hunter D books too. But when you read the book he definitly makes you feel as if your in it and makes you see the characters and Demon City right before your eyes. My favorite was how he would describe the characters descriptively and make you picture what the characters looked like in your mind and have Jun Suemi's illustrations exactly turn out what you thought they looked like. On point. Part 3: Red Fang Chapter 1...Holy crap. Never expected it to be so detailed. It was like a live porn in my head. Didn't expect that at all but wow. It really made you feel as if you saw it. The whole book came to life before my mind. Anyways can't wait to see what's in it for Setsura, Mephisto, and the rest. These New Chinese Vampires are one of a kind and tough $#!t. Remeber this was my opinion about the book and one of my new favorite top 5 authors. Keep writing HIDEYUKI! Props to JUN as well.
