We're currently plotting out places to eat during the tour, but before we do that: any requests?

Technically everyone is on their own for meals on the tour (in other words, you're never obligated to join us), but we try to go to places that most of the group would typically like to go to.

How about The Lockup? If memory serves, it's right around the corner from the hotel...

I *need* to go to Starbucks.
Only because a Japanese guest at a wedding I attended a year or so back was aghast that Starbucks in the US didn't have red bean Frappucinos. So, gotta try those.

Otherwise, the mind is busy boggling. Will post more if I think of anything.

I would very much like to go to an izakaya, preferably with a decent-size group, because that way we can order and sample a larger variety of dishes. Even better if it's a place with good sake.
