"What?!" One spluttered, "Seriously?!"
She narrowed her eyes, "I NEVER joke about coursework"
"But ..." But the argument was spared (or cruelly cut off, depending on your viewpoint) by the sound of the bell ringing. An hour break in their shedules before the next class

Sarah stood up, expertly putting the glass slides back into their case and packing up her notes

Kenshiro also stood up and collected his stuff and left. Well for a first day so far it's going good excluding the incident in the moring. "I might even make a friend". Froim what he so far saw of Sarah he liked. "She seems like a nice person, a little aloof tho"
