Berserk Vol 1: DMP logo color

What is, if any, the significance of the difference in the color of the DMP logo on volume 1 of the Berserk manga series? I only have a handful of volumes but they all have purple DMP logos whereas volume 1 has a black one.

That was actually a misprint by Dark Horse.
Our official company logo is purple.
Dark Horse, the co-publisher of this series, made a mistake on the volume 1.
