Yellow 2

I just want to make sure that Yellow 2 is still ongoing. What I understood from Tateno-sensei's interview is that she is still working on it. I have always thought that it is no more than 3 volumes or so.

From what I understand, the "three volumes" thing is the number of chapters that have thus far been released in Japan of the cell phone manga. I also got from her interview that it is still ongoing, or why would she mention she's "drawing" it (and not "done" drawing it).

Yes-Yellow 2 is still ongoing. Tateno is working on about 5 projects right now-and we're releasing Yellow 2 as it comes out on cell phones in Japan. So-we have it measured out per book based on what she has told us she will be creating-and then as soon as it's finished in Japan (so right now, there are three parts in the first one that was just released, and we have based that number for each one we release, for a total of three complete small episodes-we think. If she goes beyond that, she goes beyond, but right now it's looking like three.)-we release it in book format here. So-there are still more to come.

I have noticed that Yellow 2: Episode 2 has been taken off of the release schedule. Has the release date been pushed back or something?

Yep, Yellow 2 is still ongoing. We've had to temporarily move it off schedule because of delays with production right now, and because Tateno has fallen a little behind. When it's back on track-we'll put it back on the schedule.

Nope-that is not true. Yellow 2 Episode 2 is still a go-for early 2011. It got a little pushed back because we got the production materials past the deadline for making the original street date, and we couldn't get it back into the schedule because production had already began for everything in 2010. So-very early 2011.

It says the new yellow manga is completely sold out on my internet book store, meaning they wont be able to get more. Will you ever collect them when there's more material to a thicker volume? +_+

A lot of things are behind schedule, I hope none of them will be cancelled. I'm a bit sad, I so want to spend my money on all the titles I like (basically 95% of everything that gets published) but things have really slowed down.

So will Episode 3 be the last of the series? Does it mean that there will be no more Yellow or is it that the first three episodes was only a compilation of a first volume?
