You'll have to ask aoi_aka or DMP directly for the details, but I find it hard to believe that someone who won a contest also works for the company. Hardly seems fair.

As for the anime, unless RightStuf/Nozomi wants a crack at it, I don't see a license likely, given Media Blasters' (who generally license these things) financial troubles. The other (surviving) anime companies have scarcely touched anything resembling boys' love (and I don't think Ouran counts).

That's what I'm afraid of - it looks like there is really no BL anime releaser in the US these days... Hopefully, some company will re-appear, and will license Maiden Rose and Ai no Kusabi (BOTH old and new...)

Aoi_aka - you certainly cannot be mod, with that type of behavior, so no wonder you're not doing it anymore. I really think your most recent post should be removed, as if we all start using that type of approach / language as you're attempting, this forum will degenerate quickly, and real mods will have too much work. My impression is that you're just probably way too young, and I will leave it at that. So, that's the only reply you're going to get from me, as you're certainly not worthy any more of my time.

LOL! You have it so wrong, it's hilarious. Please continue to amuse me *pout* because you just fill up my days with rainbows and unicorns and everything that is sparkly and good in this world. I don't want replies from you. For all I care, you can stay under your bridge continuing to be a troll. You have been called that before and not by me.

I guess I will be forced to clarify it to the whole world as to why I was a mod at 801. This is why I wanted that forum back. Things like this could be cleared up with links to the posts.

Back in the day the 801 Media forums were plagued by spam. It was ridiculous. The worse part was that here we were grown women (despite my nemesis claiming that I'm "too young" (thanks for the compliment, those botox treatments are working!)) in a forum about m/m relationships getting spammed with het porn. We were like WTF is that, at least get us the right kind of spam. It got to the point that we had to scroll through several pages of spam over the weekend to get to the real parts of the forum. There was no control over the forum from the mods. We'd even asked for some people to become mods from the pool of regulars. My choices were the women who ran Yaoi Suki because they were level headed and cool people. They in turn nominated other people. So then the original 801-chan and Tomo-chan and kampai left DMP and before they left, one of them made darkheart510, suzu and me mods. Our job was to get rid of the spam. The forum ran itself unlike this one with people being trolls all over the place. Even with us modding the forum deleting spam, it was a Sisyphean task trying to stem the daily tide. Then the forum fizzled and died and very few people made posts. And one day it really went to the place all dead forums go and it was pulled out of the ashes like a phoenix and brought here. And that's the story of how and why I became a mod. I didn't ask for it. I didn't want it but once I had it, I was going to fulfill my obligations.

Weird-had a whole post written out and then it disappeared. >_< Arrgh. Anyways-what we had typed up in some form-is that we're locking this post because A)It's no longer about Maiden Rose, and B) It's just gotten out of hand.

You know, we have I think-allowed a lot of free discussion on these forums. We've allowed threads on every topic, including editing, release dates, etc., and I think we've been actually far too laid back-we kind of hoped that the forums would hang on their own, and we'd only have to answer questions, or clarify things, or keep topics on track. At this point, let us reiterate-these are the JUNE/DMP forums. These are our forums, we are allowed to discuss ourselves, and we're allowed to defend ourselves. If any of you don't like that these are the JUNE/DMP forums, and that we as a company are allowed to participate and interact with our fans-then why participate?

We're at a crossroads-the June' forums seem to be plagued with arguments, private messages, and etc. that don't exist in any of the other forums. We're considering just closing them. What we're going to do, is make Forum Rules just for June. If you don't like us instituting rules now, that's fine, you're free to go elsewhere. Sorry-but we don't have time to break up arguments. It's counterproductive. And we'll leave it with that.

Just a quick side-note: aoi_aka, please watch your language in the forums (and we had to remove the post with the language). We posted the forum rules today-so going forward-we'll be more strict.
