Duties include:

•     Copyediting/rewriting the translations for manga/comic book production
•     Script directing/ typesetting/lettering/retouch/formatting text and images and layout for book production.
•     Preparing files for Printer and checking printer proofs
•     Selecting titles for publication
•     Writing cover copy/ solicition copy/ PR copy
•     Writing content, maintain and deploy html newsletters
•     Running DMG Teleconference/Live webcast / websites/forums
•     Create covers, ads, and banners with graphic programs 
•     Maintaince of company websites
•     eBook conversions and deployments
•     PR and marketing through all social networking channels: facebook, twitter, blogs, forums, etc.

Must have experience in the following:

• 2-3 years exp. in related industry or have produce 2 or more books for comic or manga editing.
• Strong command of the English language with creative writing skills
• Familiar with Japanese nuance/ manga/ anime a plus
• Degree in English a plus
• 2-3 years software experience in Word. Experience in graphic design programs a plus:Photoshop 7 , Illustrator, Quark, Indesign, others a plus
• Html/CSS/CMS coding a major plus!
• Knowledge and experience with ebooks: epub, pdf, etc. a big plus
• Samples of published writing samples for review required
