Due to the events that transpired on Thursday, March 15th we were prepared for the worst. But thanks to the massive outpouring of fan support protesting Kindle’s illogical censorship policies and flimsy guidelines, Digital Manga’s Kindle account was restored in record time. We had expected an uphill battle, but manga fans and advocates of equal rights made their voices heard and Amazon realized how loud you all can be. This morning, we received this email:

You might notice that there aren’t as many Kindle links this week – unfortunately, we’ve run into a couple censorship issues with Kindle that we’re currently working to resolve. If you can’t wait to grab a title, Nook has a free desktop reader application that you can download to read manga there!
Kikuko Kikyua’s BL Secret Thorns (Himitsu no Toge) and Risa Motoyama’s Start With a Happy Ending have been licensed for print release! Secret Thorns will also be published digitally. Look out for those books, along with Honey*Smile, in bookstores this fall!
Good news yaoi fans! Honey*Smile by Yura Miyazawa has been licensed for digital AND print distribution! This book will be twice as nice! Release dates and more information forthcoming – look forward to it!
