12 New Licenses!

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 11:19 am

We have previously announced this news on our Facebook and Newsletter, so better late than never to join the blog! We’ve recently just licensed 12 new titles for the Juné and 801 Media imprint, 10 of them from Taiyoh Tosho! Most of these titles have been set for a summer release, so make sure you check out our updated Release Schedule.

Here are the newly licensed titles: The Tyrant Falls in Love volume 6 by Hinako Takanaga, Private Tutor (aka Katekyo!) by Moegi Yuu, Warning! Whispers of Love by Puku Okuyama, A Fallen Saint’s Kiss by You Higashino, An Even More Beautiful Lie by Kei Kanai, Tonight’s Take-Out Night! by Akira Minazuki, A Liar in Love by Kiyo Ueda, Seven Days: Friday-Sunday by Rihito Takarai, Sky Link by Shiro Yamada, This Night’s Everything by Akira Minazuki, Entangled Circumstances by Kikuko Kikuya, and I Give To You by Maki Ebishi.

  1. Katekyo! is a great manga, there’s 3 volumes I think but the first one is probably the best. It has a lot of short stories which are all good. The other two volumes focuses mostly on the main cover couple. :> I’m happy for this title.

  2. It’s great to see that volume 2 of Dog X Cat and volume 6 of The Tyrant Falls in Love coming, but are there are any chances of A Strange and Mystifying Story and Ze continuing with their other volumes as well?

  3. I am overjoyed about the new licenses and especially Rihito Takarai’s Seven Days: Friday-Sunday and The Tyrant Falls in Love. I am not familiar with the other titles but I am definitely planning on getting them once they are out.

I hope more new announcements will be made especially for titles by Youka Nitta. Waiting for news about more ZE as well.

  4. Yes, we announced on our Facebook, Twitter and Newsleetter that the third volume of A Strange and Mystifying Story has been licensed. As much as we really want to, Ze unfortunately has no certain future, due to a variety of issues.

  5. I’m very happy to see that Seven Days: Friday – Sunday is licensed!
Maybe this question has already been asked many times in the past but when will Only The Ring Finger Knows Vol. 5 in English be released? I know it’s available in German for some time now. I’m waiting for the English edition for a very long time. Is it going to be licensed soon? Another one is Pure Heart. Can we expect further editions from this manga as well soon?

  6. The OTRF question has previously been answered elsewhere, but basically we have been working on getting it licensed but it has been delayed due to some licensing issues. We haven’t given up yet, so thanks for your patience!

  7. That’s sad to hear about Ze, but I won’t buy any new volumes until it resumes publishing. I won’t go out and get a series cancelled mid-run.
