  5. I am so glad to know that I will get to read this title again. My question is will it be re-released from the beginning or will book 4 be released. I have the first 3 titles and have been waiting forever to find out what will happen next so I’m kind of curious how this will be done. Thanks so much for getting this title.

  7. Since I found out, I keep visiting the site b/c I just can’t believe that this series is finally going to be available again. I have the 3 titles that were released by BeBeautiful and then I continued by purchasing the magazine for the continuing chapters and even buying the tankobons since I just completely fell in love with the characters. I cannot say this enough–THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! You all are the best!

I know this is a given, but please give us the best translation, paper, typesetting and everything else you can. Hell I’d pay 20 bucks per book if it was bigger than the regular release and was on high quality paper. Please make this title so perfect I’d buy three of the same!

  12. I just hope June doesn’t censor certain parts like they did for some of the other 18+ titles they published so far. I’m not really happy that June imprint got the job I wish it were 801 media.

All I know is that June does censor and there is proof so I’m no making it up. June even explained saying that it’s because they can’t sell the books at certain retailer without sensoring certain areas … If you dare censor anyhing from this title you will upset alot of fans since this title is very 18+++++ so I really do wish for it to be exactly like the original, but we’ll see!

    Don’t get too happy yet!

    Comment by Patty — March 13, 2010 @ 12:42 am

  13. First of all, why June??! I also would have preferred it if 801 Media got this title instead. I have most of the June and 801 books and I know that June censors some of parts.

Whatever you do, PLEASE DON’T CENSOR OR REMOVE ANY PANEL from Viewfinder. A lot of Yamane Ayano fans are already reacting to June’s possible censorship.

I’m happy that Viewfinder finally has an english license again. But I’m not entirely too happy that June got it. Aren’t June and 801 both from DMP? Why didn’t they just give this to 801 so there won’t be much censoring?T_T This title is hardcore 18+!!

    Comment by banoni — March 13, 2010 @ 3:46 am

  14. What’s all this about censoring?? June guys, I hope you do us justice and do NOT censor this title. Seriously, you guys will cash in like it’s no one’s business, but you gotta make the readers/fans happy (and in our case, frigging ecstatic), that means no censor (graphic nor dialogue), not using cheap paper, proper translation… if you’re so worried about retailers, just up the rating to 21+ and shrink wrap the books.

As an avid fan of this manga and authoress, I got expectations the size of a red giant star and I’m sure everyone is thinking just as me. We’re serious, do this title justice and you’ll be sold out before you know it.

  15. I am very happy that ViewFinder is given a new lease of life again in US – wonderful news for yaoi fangirls anywhere. I would have to echo everyone’s request for no censoring please. As it is I am waiting in trepidation on how my fave “Maiden Rose” is going to come out looking like soon. But I need to thank your companies for licensing some of the best yaoi works in US so far including Ze, UGH (801 Media) & Viewfinder. Keep up the good work!

  17. Omgosh this is the best news ever!! The Finder Series is my favourite yaoi series ever and I was so upset that I could not buy it. But not anymore! This is wonderful news. I hope that no more obstacles come in the way of this brilliant piece of work. Oh and please do not censor any of it! Please do not destroy the original beauty of Viewfinder!

    plain stupid

    Comment by Shirokaze — April 13, 2010 @ 3:14 pm

  25. THANK YOU for publishing this title! But what ever you all do please DO NOT censor it, seriously. I mean it does say 18+ on it so no minors should get it, if they do, the stores aren’t doing a good job at checking IDs… Anyways, thanks for publishing but do not censor, please!!

    Comment by Missy — April 16, 2010 @ 2:41 am

  26. Viewfinder is not censored in Canada where the laws about censorship are usually stricter than US, so I don’t why it should be censored by Juné. But why Juné? This title suits more 801 media no? Just my opinion… This summer? Really? *chuckles*

    Comment by Aki — April 20, 2010 @ 7:16 am

  27. You guys rock!! First i find out ‘The Summitt’ (from DramaQueen publishing) that was OOP is being rereleased, and now this? I am so excited-what a great time to be collecting yaoi! Makes me wish i could go to yaoi con this year to see Ayano Yamane and get her to sign a copy that i can finally afford! WOO HOO!!

    Comment by Michelle — April 20, 2010 @ 8:15 am

  28. This really is great news!! I hope the same will happen with Crimson Spell someday ^^ *crosses fingers*

  29. Crimson Spell 1 and 2 are already released ;)

    Comment by Aki — April 22, 2010 @ 5:34 pm

  30. I am so happy to hear that you guys are doing this. Really I am, but I have to agree with a lot of the other readers. Please do Ayano Yamane justice and don’t censor this series. Please don’t, you will upset a lot of her fans if you do. I am excited yet worried.

    Comment by Isika — April 25, 2010 @ 11:15 pm

  31. Finally! I waited so long for this! This is really amazing news! But please be serious, if you censor this series you will DESTROY the beauty of Ayano Yamane artwork.

    Comment by Thess — April 27, 2010 @ 7:10 pm

  32. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I screamed of joy when i saw that!!!!!!!!!! The most wonderful news in the world hehehe. I have the first 2 books, wanted to get the third one but didn’t get too before Be beautiful bankrupted… i really can’t wait to finally get my hands on it, even if i have to wait a while at least i know its gonna come out!!
But plz PLZZZZZZZ June DON’T censor it!!! Its gonna be a bad point if you do and you’ll have plenty of fans reactions to this….why publish that kind of work if you’re gonna take off the fun part?? Seriously, just let it be and let us enjoy Ayano Yamane’s work likt it should be!

    Comment by Lili — May 1, 2010 @ 4:21 pm

  33. I’m ecstatic that this has become available to the English speaking audience, we can finally show our support and admiration. The plot and character development of the Finder series is gripping and the boldness of the illustration makes it a fun read, one of the key selling points. IF JUNE IS GOING TO CENSOR PARTS THEN I HAVE NO INTEREST IN PURCHASING THE BOOKS. Honestly, Just slap on an extra ‘WARNING -explicit (yummy) content’ label, shrink wrap each individual book and ship it off.

    Comment by Kuroneko — May 9, 2010 @ 6:17 pm

  34. I must say that I love you at this moment. I have volume 2 from the original release by BeBeautiful… I was never very happy with their translation of it, and then to find out that they were selling it illegally? It made me sad that I supported them…

I truly hope that you will not censor it. It is beautiful and doesn’t need to be dragged that low. I will stick with the official Japanese release if it comes to that. We can all be big boys and girls here.

    Comment by Jewel — May 11, 2010 @ 2:29 pm

  35. I have the first three volumes in Japanese with nothing censored and that’s how it should remain…except in English. The artwork is beautifully clean and should be appreciated to it’s fullest integrity. I actually stopped buying June years ago because the artwork just kept getting sloppy and everything was censored. If this series is not censored then June will have most certainly regained my respect and trust. I agree that I wish 801 would have picked it up as they did a wonderful job with A Foreign Love Affair but we’ll see how this goes. I can always continue with the Japanese versions if anything else.

    No Censor! No Censor!

    Comment by Amanda — June 2, 2010 @ 9:37 pm

  36. What titles have they censored exactly?…I don’t own a lot of 18+ titles from june but all from 801 I got are not…I don’t see how they can be censored cause all 18+ books I have bought we inside plastic!…so…anyway…I hope hey wont be…as well!

    Comment by seny — June 3, 2010 @ 6:55 pm

  37. I have always loved this manga and the character. I was completely stocked when I heard you would be bringing it back! I am to the point of being overwhelmed, yet terrified that you guys are going to be like so many other; by starting a series and the stopping before it’s complete! Please. OH, PLEASE! Do NOT be like that!!!

    Comment by Jaden — June 20, 2010 @ 8:38 pm

  38. OMG!! NOW I CAN FINALLY BUY VIEWFINDER!! *happy spaz moments of joy*
YATTA!! FINALLY I CAN LOOK AT MY KEI IN A MANGA INSTEAD OF A COMPUTER SCREEN!! *Holding her breath, in anticipation of the release date*

  39. OMG FINALLY, THANK YOU! Now I don’t have to spend $50 on the first issue ALONE, AND it’s going to be completed! I was actually wondering why June hadn’t picked it up from the beginning, but now I’m super thankful! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  40. Thank you so much, I’m gonna ask my local manga shop to order in from you. Thank you so, so, SO much!

  41. Yippy!!! I cannot wait for View Finder’s series to be out.

By the way, when you said that DMP bought the licensing for all the VF series does that mean all of the books will be published and available in English and in the states??? For Real?!?!?! You’re not kidding, I hope.

    Comment by ickyickypoopoo — September 20, 2010 @ 9:04 pm

  42. I was wondering, since you are publishing all of Ayano Yamane sensei’s View Finder’s series, will you be doing the same with her Crimson Spell series? I sure hope you will ^-^ I love that series as well as VF. There hasn’t been any more volume published in English except for the first two volumes. I want more!
