Yaoi-Con 2012: That’s a Wrap! (and a NEW BOOK announcement!)
Maybe you heard it enough at con, maybe not- either way, we’d like to extend our deepest, most yaoi-filled thanks to all of Yaoi-Con 2012′s guests, staff, volunteers, vendors, and (most importantly) attendees. As many of you know, it was our first year hosting the event in sunny Long Beach (sunny except for that sudden downpour on Thursday before con – yikes!) and through the blood, sweat, and tears of that first time experience, we were thrilled to see so many yaoi fans able to share their enthusiasm amongst one another and enjoy themselves in such a unique environment. Yaoi fans: you make this what it is, and it’ll never cease to amaze us. Everyone, right up to our esteemed Guest of Honor, Ogasawara-sensei, was moved by your warmth and enthusiasm. Thank you for a fantastic convention and here’s to an even more thrilling 2013!
We had announcement upon exciting announcement this Yaoi-Con, and for those of you who couldn’t join us for those, here’s the lowdown:

I’m very glad you all are changing emanga. Getting the option to actually download the titles I purchase and being able to use paypal is wonderful. I’m definitely looking forward to that…and the new licenses of course!

Hi im unsure where exactly i should post this, so sorry in advance if its in wrong place.
i have a question which involves one of your 801 media title Hey Class President. it says on anime news network that hey class president volume 5 is the final! but i was wondering is that the final volume that you will be doing? because on manga updates it says there are 6 volumes and its still on going. so im confused. and was just wondering if it was a typo or etc.

Hi there! Vol. 5 being the final volume on ANN is indeed a mistake — the series is still ongoing!

Definitely looking forward to all the new and continuing title licenses. But when are we getting more digital downloads? Not everyone can go to the conventions and it seems like you completely shut down the months when there are cons going on

Hi,
does it mean all those titles will be printed or are some of them only available digital? I really hope I can buy Hidaka Shouko’s Does the Flower Bloom? in print as I’ve been waiting for the English license forever.

Every new license except for Brave 10 will go to print.

Will there still be no more Kurashina sensei? I’m fine with smaller size, even omnibus or as a last resort, digital. Geh. But at least you’d be able to read it this way.

I am very excited for all of this fantastic news, but I was curious if there is a timeline on when Vol. 2 of The Depression of the Anti-Romanticist is going to be released. The first volume was so amazing but I can’t see to find any facts about the second volume except for the small talk that it should be coming out since it was licensed. Is this still true?

Luckily for you, we just confirmed a release for volume 2: December 25, 2013!
